THIQ laboratory experiments came about in the 1940’s by military medical scientists who were searching for a pain killer more effective and more potent than morphine. It was determined that the THIQ could not be used as it was far more addictive than morphine. So, scientist had to forget about it as a pain killer and the research information about THIQ was put up on some back room shelf so to speak.
