THIQ was isolated by Dr Virginia Davis while doing brain research at a hospital lab in Houston Texas in the late 1960’s. She needed fresh brains which are not easy to acquire! Laws were different then. Dr Davis would ride with the Police in the late hours thru skid row. When locating a John Doe dead from addiction, she had the body transported to her lab. Discovered in the brains was a chemical not in the brains of the non addicted. It was THIQ (tetra-hydro-iso-quin-oline). These deposits in the brain produce extreme obsession and addiction.

Rats, used for experiments were caged with a dish of water mixed with vodka. The rat would not drink the weak mix, then die of thirst instead. A very tiny amount of THIQ was injected into the same type rat. This rat drank continually until dead. Other rats were aggressive toward even a stronger mix with the results the same. Years later street drugs were liquidized, resulting in continual consumption until dead!

THIQ accumulations in the brain build up as drink and drug use continues. Victims become about as socially functional as the rats of Dr Virginia Davis!
